Sting, by Jude Watson

SUMMARY

Sting is an action-packed crime story about two troubled teens who are twin brother and sister and their "gang" who set out to steal valuable sapphires, also called Star sapphires. March and Jules were born into the criminal world, as children of criminal parents, and later become Foster children.  They met their friends in the foster home. The reason they are stealing the jewels is to return them to a trio of sapphires in hopes that will break the curse from the sapphires.  The jewels were cursed by a "witch" named Zillah.

CREW OF CRIMINALS

MARCH: The unrelenting main character in the story and the leader of the gang. He is the twin brother of Jules.

JULES: She is the determined twin sister of the leader of the gang.

DARIUS: Their oversized teen friend who was able to help them gain access to places usually meant for adults because of his size.

IZZY: She is the smallest member of the gang, but her brains make up for her size.  She helps the gang bypass codes and passwords to get access to information.

My Review:

Here are two reasons I like this book: first, there is a lot of action in every chapter even though there are 72 chapters. The second reason why I like this book is because there always a new story going on in every chapter and its so real world and not fiction.
